Register a fighting fish

Owners of Betta splendens (fighting fish, or Mexican) are required to complete Stage 1 of the registration form below. Stage 2 will be issued by the Registry at a later date. Procedures are set out in Appendix B.

The Australian Government has allocated official names to all fighting fish for the purposes of identification and location tracking. Upon registration, owners will be supplied with the official name attached to the data dot microscopic tracking device affixed beneath the scales of all fighting fish, as detailed in Appendix G.1 and Appendix E.1.

Parody satire — no official names, data dots or tracking devices exist.
